ITINERARY:
D1 BEIJING/XINING (D) – Arrival Beijing, Meet the local tour guide and driver. Then transfer to Outlets shopping village near the airport. Lunch on your own. Shopping until pick up time. Transfer to Airport. Arrival Xining, dinner then transfer to Hotel
D2 XINING (BLD) – Visit Qinghai Lake by boat
Qinghai Lake is the largest lake in China. Located in Qinghai province
on an endorheic basin, It is classified as a saline and alkaline lake.
Qinghai Lake has a surface area of 4,317 square kilometers, an average depth of 21 meters, and a maximum depth of 25.5 m as measured in 2008.
D3 XINING – LASHA (BL) – BY TRAIN Sleep on the train. Morning Ta’er Temple, after lunch take train to Lasha, dinner by client themselves on train. Ta’er Temple is one of the well-known temples with celebrated characteristic in architectural art in China.
D4 LHASA (BLD) – Full day on the train enjoy the land view on the way. Arrival Lhasa check in hotel for rest.
D5 LHASA (BLD) – Morning visit the Potala Palace, Dazhao Temple, Bajiao Street.The Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet Autonomous Region, China was the residence of the Dalai Lama until the 14th. Dalai Lama fled to India during the 1959 Tibetan uprising. It is now a museum and World Heritage Site.The believers in front of Dazhao temple: There are a lot of pious believers kowtowing in front of the Dazhao temple every day. Belief is an indispensable part of their lives.
D6 LHASA –Yamzho Lake -Shigatse (BLD) – Morning transfer Shigatse, visit Yamzho Lake, Outlook of Karula glacier. Kharola Glacier: it’s not the largest glacier but it definitely an ideal one to enjoy grand glacier sceneries. It is merely around 300 meters away from highway. Visitors could have a close view of the Glacier’s amazing layers and crevasses. Looking afar, it’s also impressive with magnificent seracs resembling exquisite paintings. The huge glacier starts from the top of the mountain in fogs and stretches all the way to the road.
D7 Shigatse – LHASA (BLD) – Morning visit Zhaxihunbu Monastery, then transfer to Lhasa. Zhaxihunbu Monastery – the largest one in Shigatse. It is even regarded as of the same importance as Potala Palace by many locals. It’s full name means ‘a place gathering fortune and happiness’. Built in 1447 by the 1st Dalai Lama, the monastery was home to over 4000 monks and 4 tantric colleges during its heyday. For generations of Panchan Lamas, it is where they reside and conduct religious activities.
D8 LHASA (B) by flight – Morning fly back
