ITINERARY

Day (1) Arrival QAIA – Mt. Nebo – Madaba – Amman
Arrival in Amman airport.  Meet and assist at the airport. transfer to hotel for check in Dinner and overnight.

Day (2) Amman – Petra – Amman
Breakfast inside the hotel. Morning proceed to the lost city of Petra with Horseback Ride through the picturesque SIQ, and visit the Treasury. Then sightseeing tour of Amman, dinner and overnight in Amman.

Day (3) AMMAN – ALLENBY BRIDGE – JERICHO –DEAD SEA -TIBERIAS
After breakfast, later transfer to Mt. Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land before he died. Then proceed to Madaba to visit the Monastery of St. George, which host the unique mosaic Map of Egypt, Jordan and Holy land. The map is believed to be the first one for this area, as it is built in the 6th century, proceed to Allenby Bridge to cross the border to Israel. Arrive in Israel in Jericho for lunch. Get as close as possible to Mt. of Temptation, get to see a Sycamore tree. After lunch, have a chance to float in the Dead Sea and try the curative powers of its mud and waters. Move on to Tiberias. Transfer and check in at the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day (4) MT. TABOR – CEASAREA PHILIPPI – SEA OF GALILEE – CAPERNAUM – TABGHA– ST. PETER’S PRIM
After breakfast, drive to Mt. Tabor early in the morning to visit the site of Transfiguration. Proceed to Capernaum where Jesus mostly taught and on to Tabgha. Visit St. Peters Primacy Church.  Visit Mt. of Beatitudes where the Sermon on the Mount took place. Proceed to Yardenit, where traditionally, Jesus was baptized. On to the sea of Galilee for a boat ride. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.

Day (5) JORDAN RIVER – CANA – NAZARETH – MT. CARMEL – CEASAREA – BETHLEHEM

First stop is Cana, where Jesus performed His first miracle, He turned the water into wine at the Wedding in Cana. Move on to Nazareth, visit the Church of the Annunciation where the Archangel Gabriel announced to Virgin Mary the birth of Jesus Christ. Visit also St. Josephs workshop and Marys well. You shall visit Haifa, to Stella Maris where one can enjoy a panoramic view of the Mediterranean. Drive   down   to Caesarea, which was built by Herod the Great to catch sight of the Aqueducts and the Roman Theater. This is where St. Paul was imprisoned. Move on to Bethlehem. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.

Day (6) EIN KAREM – BETHLEHEM – JERUSALEM

After breakfast proceed to the Shepherds Field where the star appeared to the shepherds which lead them to the manger where baby Jesus was born.  Continue the journey back to Bethlehem to visit the Church of Nativity where Jesus was born. Proceed to Ein Kerem to visit the Church of St. John and the Church of Visitation. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.

Day (7) Jerusalem – Mt. Zion – Mt. Of Olive
After breakfast, visit the Church of St. Anne, Pool of Bethesda. Today we enter the Old City of Jerusalem through Herods Gate. Walk the Via Dolorosa starting at the Ecce Homo where Pontius Pilate washed his to eternal sleep hands. Proceed to the Flagellation and through all the Stations and reach the Church of the Holy Sepulchre where Jesus was crucified, died and rose from the dead.  Then, proceed to Mount Scopus where you can have a sightseeing of the Old and New City of Jerusalem.  Move on to the Mount of Olives to visit the Ascension Chapel where Jesus ascended into Heaven. Visit the Church of Pater Noster to witness the Lord’s Prayer written in several languages.  Proceed to the church of Dominus Flevit (God Wept) where God wept over Jerusalem. You shall walk down the Palm Sunday road to the Church of All Nations and the Garden of Gethsemane where you can see the Rock of Agony where Jesus prayed before the Roman soldiers came for Him.   In the afternoon, we visit the Mount Zion area where we see the Upper Room where Jesus and His disciples have their last supper. The Church of Dormition, where Mary went and the Church of St.  Peter in Gallicantu, the House of the High Priest Caiaphas where St. Peter denied Jesus three times. Back to the hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

Day (8) JERUSALEM – ST. CATHERINE
Hotel Breakfast and check out. Cross Taba border of Egypt with assistance on both borders. Arrive Taba, check in hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day (9) ST. CATHERINE – CAIRO

Breakfast and check out. Visit St. Catherine Monastery then travel to Cairo and see Moses Springs and Suez Canal. Check in at hotel in Cairo for dinner and overnight.

Day (10) Cairo Full Day

After breakfast visit Egyptian Museum, where you can see the finest displays of artifacts, relics, statues and Jewelries from all of the pharaohs reigns. Also the only riches with remarkable museum in the world. Also see one of the Wonders of the World, the Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx. You will also visit Church of Virgin Mary, visit to St. George Coptic Church, visit to St. Sergius Church and Citadel then visit Khan El Khalili Bazaar for shopping (if time permits).  In the evening, will have Dinner Cruise at Nile River with Belly Dancing Show before returning to the hotel for overnight.

Day (11) Cairo – Departure

Breakfast at hotel, you will have a half day sightseeing tour of Cairo, also will have to visit the Hanging Church built in the 4th BC. The rest of the day is free for last minute shopping. Then transfer to Cairo Airport for Final departure.
